Gatlinburg, Tennessee trip

Last month I took a couple days off to go to Gatlinburg, Tennessee with my mom. We had been planning the trip since last summer I believe… maybe fall.. it has been planned for awhile. We stayed at the gorgeous BearSkin Lodge. It was tucked away a little bit from the main drag which was great. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to in town. We spent most of our time in the Arts and Crafts community area that is a little further outside of town. I got an amazing Crystalline Vase from a potter. Those are my favorite vases and I usually grab one when I am in North Carolina every July. I also got some wooden fruit which is a whole other blog post waiting to happen.

This is the awesome chairlift that I tried to get my mom to go on.

The song that was playing was Save a Horse ride a Cowboy….

I was able to get my mom to go up the little space needle they had there and got some cool shots at night time and then again during the day. YAY!

I could take pictures of the mountains all day! Next, we drove up on the trail through old Gatlinburg. We saw a black bear!! The next picture has the black bear in it.. Can you see it? Yeah.. he is hiding pretty good. Right after we stopped the car and I got out with the camera he went behind a bunch of trees.

Oh my goodness! Someone needs to smack me since it has been so long since I posted. I was on a role and then life happened haha. I can’t believe it is almost May – what happened to April? Seriously, where did it go?

I have so much in store for all of my couples this year and fun things for the blog!

I will leave you now with an amazing pictures from Tennessee when I was there earlier this month. Enjoy and more posts ( more frequently ) are coming.

Rockstar dogs and spring weather

Happy Monday!

Spring has started – yay!

I saw one of my bulbs finally blooming. I am so excited that we are going to have nice weather this week and into next week. There are engagement sessions that are planned and hopefully the weather stays nice enough for the rest of the month for the Columbus wedding I have later this month.

Bentley also had some quality tennis ball throwing time with my dad over the weekend.

To get the full effect that had me laughing for a good 5 minutes is the close up of how hilarious my dog looks running after a tennis ball

Yes. My dog rocks.
