I have power again! yeah! My power actually came on yesterday afternoon – but my internet/phone/tv did not come back on till later on in the evening.  The power flickered and went off like 3 times after it came back on and I about died. There is to much to do this week to be with out power and internet!

With that being said – I have tons of emails and calls that need to be returned between today and tomorrow. I will get to all of them before I leave for vacation so just bare with me. I am about 2 days behind now in my schedule due to the power outage. I will be trying my hardest to get all the CD’s out that need to go out and everything else done before I leave.

I just wanted to keep you all updated with everything!

In a nut shell: All of my couples will be getting their own website.  It will have their engagement session on it – select 20-30 photos that I love  will go in the engagement slideshow. Then the wedding will be added to this site as well – again – another 20-30 ( maybe more? 35?) will go on the wedding slideshow.  This website will also have a direct link to view all the proofs from the wedding or engagement session and a place to order. Yippie! All neat and organized!

I haven’t figured out how long these websites are going to be available to view after the wedding date.  I know they will be available at least 6 months after the wedding date because all the proof galleries last at least 6 months.  The time for how long they will last I am still working on.  If you brides out there have any preferences for how long the site lasts let me know! 6 months? 12 months? 18 months?  I feel like 2 years might be a little long hehe.

I have a new portfolio site!  It is up and running now! I am excited! Can you tell?!

The old portfolio site was great and amazing while it lasted, but this one is way better and blows the socks off the old one.  Don’t worry – the blog that is here stays exactly the same.  This is still the place where you will find all the new information about my life, all the recent weddings, recent engagements, and any other photo shoots that I do.  The portfolio will be more static as I will not always be changing the images weekly – maybe monthly.

There is a new feature on the portfolio site where I will be featuring at least one wedding monthly. So, that will be changing monthly.  It will either be a wedding I just did, or a wedding from the previous year depending on how I rotate them.  I am excited about this! This feature wedding will let everyone see a full wedding from start to finish.  It will not contain every photo taken during the day, but a good majority that I think helps tell the story of the day.

Almost done! Furniture is in!  I’m super excited about the semi organized cords… they still need help though.

It is almost done! Just need to put pictures on the wall and get the bookshelf put in.
